Out and About!

I can sit up! (for a little while)

Hard at work with daddy -o!

Dan loves his hands and has developed a new smile that involves wrinkling up his nose...pretty cute.

Dan's first slide! I think I was maybe a bit more excited than he was.

We had a fun time at the park on Saturday afternoon. Dan learned about trees, playgrounds, and grass. He reaction was the usual..."Can I eat them?"

We took Dan to the track and field day for Joe's school. He put on quite a show for the 7th and 8th grade girls who were so excited to see him.

Track and field day with Dad!

Dan with baby Selah. We took a trip to Round Rock to visit my friends Crystal, Becca, and Maegan. There were six kiddos together that day!

Crystal and Dan. Thanks for hosting us Crystal!

Becca and Dan. Dan was having too much fun!

Dan loves to bounce right now so this is the perfect toy for him! (sorry for the angle on these videos...I couldn't figure out how to rotate them).

6 Months Old!

Dan's new favorite item is a coffee mug. I think he sees Joe and I use them so much that he realizes that they MUST be good! If we even so much as walk by him with one, I quickly grab one for him to play with so he doesn't feel left out (and let us clearly know how he feels about it!)

Dan and I had a great Mother's Day together with Daddy. My boys made the day very special!
This is our first attempt to post a video. Dan had his first solid food the other night. He seemed to like it in the beginning, although none seemed to make it into his tummy. However, after this video stopped, grimaces and refusals of the spoon showed us that perhaps he didn't like it as much as we thought. :)

Our little Socialite...well kinda

Dan has become great friends with beautiful little Margot (about two weeks older than Dan). Their mothers have become great friends as well and we have loved seeing them quite often!

Dan usually plays well; however, this playdate was slightly upsetting to little Dan who thought he had been abandoned. This picture was taken just before a cry for help.

Margot and Dan together again.

Five Months Old!

Like father, like son.

Dan is enjoying "tummy time" much more now. Especially now that he can escape the dreaded position by rolling over onto his back!

Squished!!! I let Dan play on a chair and when I turned around he had wedged himself into the corner of the chair. His cheeks and expression show just how small of a space he had squeezed himself into.

Dan loves going out into our front yard. He looks at eat car that goes by with amazement. This has become a daily activity for Mommy and Dan.

My parents came to visit last weekend. Dan loved seeing Grandmommy and Grandpa! In fact, he loved it so much that he decided to go with them to Tulsa for the week!

Grandmommy had a wonderful "big boy" stroller that Dan loved! Notice his first baseball cap. We had a wonderful time looking at all of the beautiful tulips around Tulsa.

Dan loved meeting Aunt Sherry and Uncle Rick. Aunt Sherry knew just what to do to bring a smile to his face!

Covington!

Dan thoroughly enjoyed his Gramere! She took him outside daily. He became quite the "adventure boy!!"

Dan met all of the Covington Miltenbergers and loved every one of them!

What's a boy to do with all of this attention?

Cheeks, Cheeks, and more cheeks at 3 1/2 months!

Dan is doing what he does best right now....putting his hands in his mouth!

"Ooooooh, I'm full.....

....and I'm happy about it!"

Dan's cousin Katy turned one last Saturday and he sent her his best wishes.

"Daddy is so cool!"

Cuzzies and more!

Look at me, I can sit in my bumbo (with a little help from Dad for my head).
We went to Dallas last weekend and saw Aunt Addie, Uncle Jeromy, cousin Lucie, and new cousin Jeromy, Jr. We all had a great time. The little ones weren't initially thrilled about all the photo ops, but they got the hang of it!

Three peas in a pod.

Aunt Addie and Uncle Joe are so fun!

Our little one is growing and developing more personality every day. He loves to say "Ah-geee" now and still loves to laugh and smile.
