Sunday Hike

On Sunday morning before church, we decided to take a short hike along the coastal path from St. Andrews. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we had such a good time. We hiked for about 30 minutes and the path led us down to the water where we took a break and soaked up some sun. We decided that we will definitely return for a picnic there soon! This first picture is of St. Andrews as we reached the top of the first big hill out of town. The beach that you see is just about 5 minutes from our home....we've been spoiled! Scotland is blooming all over these days. The yellow flowers that you see are coating the hillsides all over the place.

Tulsa Videos!

We all went to Jason and Laura's one night for some amazing ribs. He is the group at a glance. We really had a great time.

Tulsa!

Well, Dan and I just returned from a three week adventure to Tulsa. We had such a good time. One word sums up our trip: family. It was great! We saw lots of Jason, Laura and Katy. Dan loved following Katy around and Katy loved giving lots of hugs. They really were cute together. Here are the three of us...it must have been right after nap or before bed.

We had even more family come in for a long weekend. My Aunt Gail, Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Nan and Uncle Jerry came for three nights and it was so much fun to see them! Here are some of us on a beautiful day at the park. Shorts, can you believe it?!!! We haven't seen those since, well, August!
Katy up on Daddy's shoulders. Too cute.

I thought it was precious to see Dan walking with Aunt Nan. What a pair!

Dan and Katy....smile! Well, getting them to smile at the same time was definitely easier said than done.

My big boy in Grandmommy's kitchen.

The Zoo!!! We made it to the zoo and Dan loved it. It was his first time and it was so special to see his eyes light up at all the different animals. Look at my big man on the toroise! So brave :)

We saw a huge chimp right by the window.

Grandmommy and Dan watching a cheetah.

A lion!

I'm so funny!

Dan recently thought it was the funniest thing for me to mimic the bell on his toy. I just had to capture it on video. It amazes me sometimes to see what tickles his funny bone!

Let it snow!

St. Andrews was covered in snow yesterday! We loved it! Despite the fact that we are in Scotland, it really doesn't snow very often here. If it does, it usually doesn't stick. So we were thrilled with the few sticky inches. Joe took this picture as he was leaving for class. I love it because you can see his reflection in our front window as well as Dan and my faces inside peering out. This is how we send Daddy off every day.
We finally have a few pictures of Joe's campus. This is the front gate to St. Mary's campus.

This is a random pic of our walk to town along the Kinnesburn creek (not sure if creek is the right word???)

This is St. Mary's Quad covered in snow and decorated with a massive snowman!

I tried to take a picture out our back window on our snowy day, but my flash got in the way. You can still see a bit of my view though...beautiful!

Our Favorite Pastimes!

Dad now loves to help mommy in the kitchen. I chop, mix, and saute while Dan, well....eats, eats, and eats! Haha...that's my growing boy!

Here are my boys doing what they love best...reading!

Dan is learning to appreciate and play with others. Here he is with a precious little friend. This playdate became one big Cheerio-fest!!!

Dan now loves to look out our front window. We have a bus stop right outside our house, so he lights up each time he sees a bus drive by.

Nothing like an early morning gaze out front.
